The first step in working with Sovereign Self Mental Health is scheduling a consultation. We require a consultation because we do things differently here. The consultation helps us make sure this model is the right fit for you — and that you feel fully aligned with what we offer.
Therapy is sacred work, and being in the wrong container can be frustrating, disheartening, and sometimes even harmful.
We want you to feel safe, empowered, and supported — not stuck in something that doesn’t resonate. This consultation gives us a chance to connect, ask questions, explore your goals, and ensure that our work together would truly serve your healing.
You deserve a therapeutic relationship that honors your sovereignty — and starts with choice, not assumption.
Next, we schedule an intake. As part of your intake, we gently assess multiple areas of your life — including mental, emotional, physical, relational, and environmental wellbeing — to create a truly holistic picture of where you are and what you need. TOGETHER we then choose the right tier for you and create a plan to move forward. This may include assisted self-therapy, short-term therapy, or longer-term support options.
